Aerial Devotion

I've been blessed to live a dream and spend the majority of my life flying high above the clouds, looking out at the world through windows over 6 miles above the earth. I have logged over 28,000 hours enjoying the most magnificent views one could imagine. For me, it was almost impossible to enjoy those views without reflecting on their creator. Flying at night was an especially spiritual experience for me as I knew the current guesses of the vast distances and numbers of stars and galaxies involved. You can't help but think about Genesis and God speaking it all into existence.

After years of flying and enjoying the views for myself from incredible heights, I now share my faith through breathtaking aerial videos, spiritual music, and the word of God. Combining my passion for aviation and photography with my love of Jesus, I feel a calling to share the word of God, as written in the Bible, free of personal bias and opinions.

The Bible warns of false teachers, prophets, and even false churches leading their congregations astray. I do not consider myself educated nearly enough to speak on theology with any authority, and have no desire to take any chance of teaching anything contrary to the word of God. I do feel, however, that I can be a conduit for putting forward the word of God in front of people with my videos, allowing them to read the truth and come to their own inspired conclusions.

I would like to add one small word of advice. When trying to reveal the exact meaning of any single verse, context is the key! I suggest that if there is a verse you wish to understand more deeply, go to your Bible and read the verses both before and after the verse to uncover the true context of the verse.

Several things going on here at once

I started the FaithAV8R.com website primarily to connect to my YouTube channel and promote Christianity through my devotional videos by combining stunning local aerial video with biblical texts and calming spiritual Christian music. As I started construction of this site, and with input from friends, it quickly became apparent that it was becoming a little more encompassing than I had originally planned.

Several years ago, I read a story about the increasing number of scientists who were turning to a belief in a creator God because scientific evidence was pointing them in that direction. Pilots, for the most part, are logical, science-minded folks and like to see evidential proof of things. That has led me to become almost obsessed about documenting this. My proof of God section has numerous accounts of the evidence that these scientists have claimed moved them to these conclusions.

How about some books?
I'll have a list of some of my favorites that lean towards aviation and faith. Heck there might even be one or two that are free to download if you're into digital formats. The first book will be When Faith Takes Flight, written by my friend Jim Walters. Another book I highly recommend is
